ClearType-switch without effect

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start pRSSreader and select "Menu/Options/Appearance"
2. set "Enable ClearType" = ON and tap "OK" button
3. open a feed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see no difference between "Enable ClearType" ON and OFF. 
Font is not smoothed in both cases.   

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V1.4.1 on T-Mobile MDA Touch, WindowsMobile 6
