Filtering on caching, follow link. #60

David,

you have really outdone yourself with this version! Great!

A feature suggestion, that I had for a long time, is a filter on what to
download. I see that a lot of advertisement is cached. Maybe it is a good
idea to be able to define which links to follow and which not. The most
elaborate example I know is in SunriseXP (I already mentioned that in
another thread, it is software to read regular pages-not RSS feed-
offline). But two useful options would already be chackboxes whether or
not to follow links from another site or from another domain on the same
site,

A second request:
Sometimes there are articles consisting of more pages. At the bottom of
the cached article, you then see a hyperlink to page 2. It would be nice
if somehow that link could be followed so it is also cached, or perhaps if
the hyperlink is not translated to a local address, so that if you click
on int it opens the site (if you are online of course)

Again, these are just suggestions, do with them as you see fit!

Regards

Kuifje

I think part one is a duplicate of Issue 51.
It's no big deal for this request, but could you please create two requests for
distinct features (or bugs) in the future?

hmmm I think you're right. I did see it before I posted this one to avoid
duplicates,
but i scanned through the list and i thought it was more about filtering the
kind of
images in a pages, rather than following links outside.

In my mind the feature requests were not so different, since both of them
related to
following links.

Anyway, it's great to see you people active on this, already great software.
