From the little that is here provided, I understand that you are using HTTP 
proxy
(figured that out from a different issue of yours).

If this is true, then the sync with Greader can not work for you, because:
- the user has to be verified to access Greader, which goes over HTTPS
- HTTPS over HTTP proxy is not supported (at all, by design) to prevent
man-in-the-middle attacks

If you can confirm the above, so I can take appropriate action on this issue.
