No indication when update fails due to full drive

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fill the drive where the cache directory is
2. Start an update

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The update blazes through all feeds faster than normal, and each gets a
"invalid feed file" error.  Should have a different error message for
"failed to write to..." or similar

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

This is a duplicate to issue 24. I was working on this problem, but the 
detection of
the full disk state may not be good enough. Did you try it with the latest SVN 
version?

I am using release 1.4.2 -- the VS 2008 build isn't *quite* there, so I'm not 
running
the SVN build yet.  Looks like r126 came after the release build, so I don't 
have the
fix.  I must have accidentally searched open issues only, so I missed issue 24. 
Sorry!  Is there any way to just totally delete this issue?

It is marked as duplicate, so it won't show up among the open issues. You do 
not have
to worry about that.

Anyway, if you could verify the fix for issue 24, it would be great. Feel free 
to
post the result there.
