Opening Bookmarks in a new Tab with middle-mouseclick

In the bookmark bar I can open a link in a new tab with the middle mouse 
button, but not in the menu bar und not wenn I have a folder in the 
bookmark bar.
Is it possible to open a link in a new tab also wenn ich klick with the 
middle mouse button in the pulldown menu from the menu bar or in the menu 
from a folder inside the bookmark bar?
