Problems with periods in Series name

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Search for a series with successive abbreviations, like Avengers A.I. or 
WildC.A.T.S.
2. No result
3. Also no result is your try removing the periods, and leaving spaces returns 
nothing or everything (depends on the other content)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Some better handling of this. It makes these cases harder to deal with manually 
right now. In the Avengers case, you have to go through all titles that include 
Avengers and pick it manually (that's a lotta books!)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1.19-beta Mac OS

This is odd.  I think this used to work.  I just did a manual test of the 
ComicVine API, and searching with and without periods for "Avengers A.I." and 
"Avengers AI" and it worked both times, but the for some reason fails in the 
app.  It might have to do with URL escaping of the string.  Gonna look into it 
soon.  This kind of stuff is highest priority.  Thanks
