Seeing as UBlock Origin is available for Thunderbird, is there any version of Tampermonkey available for Thunderbird?

What kind of scripts would you want to execute? Against what would you match to determine if a script should run?

Thunderbird has a internet browser in it for accessing links and feeds. It would be nice to have scripts for YouTube specifically like Simple Sponsor Skipper.

I also would like to see tampermonkey in thunderbird! We can match by to/from recipients, subject patterns and so on. There may be many very useful use cases like links highlight and preview, extend content of rating and some external spam-checks and so on.
