I think your video is very cool. Candidate can use it for clear reference :)

Most of the exercise time, I take my time to figure out each term: bundle, gem, mark out...... and google the way to fix some building problems. Well, but it is easy to find the way to fix it on the internet :) I think it is one of the most important things we want candidates to have it.

About the postgestsql : I install it using console and start by console. I don't use the app based on the guide.

Last but not least, I think the guide+video is perfect. It is enough to test the candidate in this way. I don't have web dev experience :d Maybe other guys can finish easier :d
