'Universal Upload' errors in gec apk's #547

ORB is reporting the following error when trying to upload from tablets:

'Universal Upload' button pressed, generates the following error message on the tablet:

"Upload error: .... (screeshot cutoff, looks like 504 or 404) {badmatch,{invalid_uri_2,get_protocol,{url,portal1350895080/index.php?....undefined,undefined,undefined..."

The error message is very long. I've asked for further detail on what's happening when this message comes (active net connection, how many simultaneous uploads, etc). Please let me know if there's anything else they can try.

@skippskipp Has this issue been resolved?

I believe they were able to upload through a different connection or with a fresh IP, so it was resolved in that sense. But would it be possible to have any (most) uploader error messages produce a message that data collectors could understand and act on, something like, "Upload Error: Please check your Internet connection and try again" ?
