I have a problem with using item frames as a holder for the markers, frames are quite laggy, also, the they can be knock off easily, if a creeper blast near the townhall, then the village is gone, so I propose to stop implementing them, why not have the markers be able to stick on walls itself, maybe in the future, you can right-click the markers to access a GUI?
