Suggestion : Brewer / Publican #643

Overview The Brewer/Publican is a villager to run the Tavern who is responsible for the Tavern itself. He/She keeps the Beer flowing, and is a shoulder to cry on for the saddest of villagers.

Villager AI

  1. Craft Beer
  2. Read In Library
  3. Work In Tavern

AI : Craft Beer

  1. Visits the Stores and gathers wheat and empty buckets
  2. Visits a well or other water source in the village and fills the buckets with water
  3. Returns to the Tavern and combines the Wheat and the water bucket to produce a bucket of Beer.

The villager's profession skill can be used to modify the amount of resources consumed, or to make a "Better" beer, which when consumed by villagers results in more happiness.

AI : Read In Library AI module works the same as with other villagers.

AI : Work In Tavern

  1. Walks around the bar giving beer to villagers to consume which will provide X number of beers per bucket of beer in their inventory.
  2. Stops to talk to particularly sad villagers. Providing a happiness boost.
  3. Chase children out of the Tavern (The Tavern is not a place for Kids!)

When serving beers, the Brewer/Publican's skill level will allow more beers to be served per bucket of beer in their inventory (Less spillage while serving)

When talking to sad villagers, the happiness boost is modified by the brewer/publicans skill level.

Similar to #529 which was closed by tango as he does not intend doing this.

I been a developer for 20 years, and wrote some of my own personal MC mods. If Tango likes the idea, but doesn't have time himself, I would be keen to do the work.
