A feature like this would be a tremendous help. I currently am using a word document to keep track of villagers so I know how many of each I have. Once your village gets near 100 it is almost impossible to complete a full headcount in an accurate fashion.
Its been planned forever now. Just haven't had time to get to it yet.
This would be amazing!! My village has maybe 50 villagers, and I have to run them down to change their AI settings.... Ugh
While making changes to the town hall, I would greatly appreciate having the visiting Nomads and Nitwits without job assignments report to the Town Hall between library and tavern time. The single most aggravating thing I've experienced is trying to catch these variants to see what there intelligence and skill levels are, assign them a profession, and customize their AI. This change might be easier to implement than some of the control changes mentioned above and could be done as an intermediate step.
Mentioned this in a previous post, but now that I've played for a bit longer I will go into more detail.
The Town Hall should have a NPC/HUB, that has organized tabs, where you can keep track of all the in and outs of your villagers.
-Section 1: Villagers- Here, you can keep tabs on every single villager, without ever having to physically see them. You can see their skills, profession, name, etc. And You can change their settings from the hub too. (I.E: To Chop, or to not chop birch, etc..) I'd say the only thing you couldn't see from here, is there inventory (to save code and stuff) Optional suggestions: Be able to set/change their profession from the hub. Be able to change villagers name from the hub, at of course, the cost of a name tag)Th
-Section 2: Mine and Beds-
The purpose of this section is to see how many mines are currently active, and how many beds are unclaimed, out of existing claimable beds. ( EXAMPLE: 7/20 beds claimed)
That way, it'll be way easier to know if there is a problem with a mine, right off the bat, especially if you don't have a lot of druids yet.
A feature like this, would make things a million times easier and then some. Especially if you have a big, big, village..
