By any chance did was that chef a child/nitwit you converted into a chef? Or a different villager type you converted into a chef?
@Snodderz it was a nitwit that I converted into a chef. However, it is not only happening with chefs. That just happened to be the one I took a screen shot of.
Then the Chef here is another example of #626 . The x2 villagers in one bed is a seperate issue.
Had two of my villagers do this for two nights. There were 4 beds available (one turned out to be invalid due to a torch above it) and 3 villagers in the village at the time. They have the same first name, not sure if that's relevant. I destroyed their beds and took down the token, and put it back up, and now only one of them will sleep there but the other one is complaining of not being able to find a bed. By now other homes have been made and other villagers have found beds, but the farmer out of this pair just still will not sleep. Don't know if it's part of the same bug or an overlapping one.
We have eight valid beds and three villager. All beds are yellow. All villagers sleep, one in one bed and two in another bed.
Describe the bug Villagers seem to still be sleeping in the same bed. I have seen this with two adults and with an adult and a child. I have also seen it in yellow and green beds.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior Each villager has its own bed

Additional context I am not sure what is causing this behavior. I can fix it for a bit by resetting the house token. It also seems to happen randomly and in different houses. You can also see in this screenshot that there is a villager in a yellow bed. This can also be reset by removing the house token.
