5 years ago Having the same issue with lumberjacks fixated on trees and not getting through leaves, once I break them they will move, even throughout the night. The Village is all above ground and was working appropriately pre-Version 1.0.87. Currently in SP.
I am underground with no access to the surface but only by a block or 2. I have a large underground tree farm area which currently has birch and oak growing. Not enough height clearance for jungle or spruce yet, but working on it. The TH token is closer to the underground farm than the surface access. But the storage token is close to outside. As are several homes.
My lumberjack will quite often just stand around doing nothing. No pattern to where he will stall either.
When I break out to the outside s/he will wake up and come outside and start chopping trees down.
Where I am is mainly birch nearby so I tried turning off birch in the lumberjacks settings to change focus
Expected behavior I would expect that lumber Jack would say he cannot pathfinder to the surface and concentrate on trees he can reach.
