5 years ago I admit I'm hoarding items not selling them to the merchant in this play though but yeah... compression would be nice ;)

Describe the bug Turning Villager items into their compressed form and back shouldn't change that they're villager items. For example, Redstone dust to Redstone Blocks, Wheat to Haybails and so on
To Reproduce Craft with 100% villager items
Expected behavior The items are compressed/compressable for easier storage and transportation and remain villager items to sell.

Additional context it would just be a really nice feature and if the villagers themselves could/would compress items in storage that'd be great too.
