Hello, TangoTek! I Have played the Tektopia mod and it was so commendable! This mod gave my minecraft experience some new color in it. However, here are some of my suggestions for the improvement of the game:
WAR UPDATE
The villages within 5 kilometers may interact with one another, building up relationships with each other (may be neutral/ chilly, bad, atrocious/acquintance,good,excellent.) Inspired by the iconic Millenaire Mod.
Positive village relations can cause more trading interactions (through merchants) and forge alliances that may help each other in dire times (loss of supplies, war, massive mob attack or raids by enemy villages). The quality and quantity of help depends on how positive their relations could be. (acquintance being the least amount of quality and quantity of help, while excellent may provide the best goods and troops, along with its good quantity).
Neutral villages may still interact, although only for occasional trading. Tensions or Positive changes may occur.
Negative village relations can cause less to none of trading interactions. These may cause raids by the enemy in attempt to get resources (chilly) from the target village/to completely colonize the village under their control (bad) or worse, to wipe it off from existence (atrocious). Battles outside the village may also happen. Guards, Mages and the Clerics are involved in the battle. Only 10% of the guards will remain to protect the village.
**Catapult (Placeable item)**
Crafted by the architect. (Needs 2 wood planks, 2 sticks, 2 iron ingots and 1 cauldron)
Hurls boulders to the desired targets.
Can be obtained by the player through the storage.
In times of war and massive mob attacks, the guards obtain the catapult from the storage and
places it into the field to be utilized.
Uses stone and cobblestone blocks.
Mage/Wizard Villager (Rare in generated villages)
The counterpart to necromancers, the Mage villager can construct magics of the arcane, fire
and ice. Also an expert of utilizing normal objects into magical liquids, these mages can also
create potions that the villagers may utilize.
Shoots Arcane projectiles, which may give a weakness debuff to its target/s
(35% chance).
FEATURE: Once they die with 0-10 happiness points, there are 14% - 35% chance that the fallen mage will resurrect into a necromancer.
BUILDING: Mage Tower
This is where Mages train their powers, craft potions for the village and take a rest.
Can be a custom structure generated by the mod or utilize the church building of the typical
village.
The structure marker (or whatever you call that thing you place in the item frame for it to be
considered as a village structure) can only be obtained via creative mode or through the End
City.
Spell 1: Frost Elemental (ICE)
Summons an elemental made of ice that will aid the mage to battle his/her enemies.
Once the target is 15+ blocks away, the elemental will shoot cold air currents. Once it is too
near (let's say 5 blocks atleast), the elemental will commence its melee attack.
There is a 27% chance that these currents may encase its enemy on ice for a few seconds.
Spell 2: Firebolt (FIRE)
Summons a projectile of fire that would incinerate its target/s. (Will not affect blocks.) Has 24%
chance of stunning his/her enemies.
Spell 3: Polymorph (ARCANE)
Turns his/her enemies into a harmless mob (cow, chicken, horse, sheep) for the guards to
attack the morphed aggressive mob.
