If there are melee guards, then there should be a ranged guard, that is why I thought of the guard, who can shoot enemies from afar. Archers need string to make bows, luckily, there are fishing, which harvest string, or used bows, blacksmith could combine the bow to make a stronger one, or archer couls craft the bows, for arrows, there are chicken feathers, and flint... Maybe when the druid renew the mine, he can fill it with gravel, and maybe miners create flint with the rate of 100%?
