What Happens if the Profile is unverified and deleted while maintenance?

What Happens when a unverified profile is deleted and the user tries to verify but profile doesnt exist?

• [ ] What are the Fallback plans?

• [x] Should the maintenance delete only parts of the profile, like the tokens and timestamps and secrets, otp and keeping the password hash and likes? In that case when user tries to revalidate, new tokens and other deleted items are regenerated and added and send to the user for reverification.
• [ ] Or It should delete the whole profile and ask the user to recreate the profiles?

Even though maintenance may not be shipped now, but keep the plan ready and just fix it up when the maintenance code is shipped instead of rewriting the handlers.
