The problem probably comes from the Dropbox App settings, not your Dropbox accounts. I guess the App configuration doesn't exist anymore, or something must have expired. I didn't run this app since ages.
Is there any new updates to your repo? I think this small plugin would be fantastic for Steam Deck x PC saves. I have yet to find an easy way to get cross saving to work for DS3. I would appreciate if it could be updated, as I have the same issue with darksoulscloudpls.
No update planed. For Steam x PC saves, it could make sense to be revived, but it would also need to be generalised to any games, at the moment it is specific to DS3.
There is something broken at Dropbox level, I have to check, maybe someday if I can find time.
@darksoulscloudpls @richpanda1214 Did you guys try Dropbox data source ? I just tried and it still works.
I just fixed the Google Drive version, but I will need to publish a new version for it to work.
I just published a 1.0.7 version with Google Drive extension that is also working apparently. Can you give it a try and tell me know what's going on please ?
@richpanda1214 I just realised but, note that this is not a "plugin" for Dark Souls 3, it is a separate Windows application. Note that I make emphasis on Windows, because it will not run on Steam Deck. Even if it would be a Linux application, I don't think Valve let custom code to execute on Steam Deck.
I just tried the new version and looks like the google drive upload and restore works. I do not see the actual backup in my google drive so Im not exactly sure where it's saving, but it shows no errors in the app.
The application has it's own and separate storage space in your Drive, that's why you can't see it. If you could see it, that would mean my application could write in your Drive, and therefore possibly delete or steal your files, which would be a major security issue.
That said, I don't know if there is a way for you to see what the application stores, I guess it's possible but I don't know how.
@darksoulscloudpls Can you try the latest and let me know if it's fixed please ? I also added Linux support.

I just got this mostly working on steam deck. I was not able to get the linux version working, but I was able to install the windows version using lutris and setting the prefix to the same folder that steam set up for DS3. (I also had to install .Net8 to that same prefix) I could only use dropbox as the google drive option failed to pop open a web browser. Only manual store and restore work but its enough to easily transfer my saves :)
Hi, I keep getting the error at the bottom of the app saying “Failed to intialise dropboxcloudstorage (an error occurred when sending the request)”. It says this even after I tried another dropbox account. I have just downloaded this and tried to use it but I have had no luck so far. Please get back to me as soon as you can, thank you.
