I have a question about the Sizer related to single or multi-AZ deployments. If I use the "Custom" tab to size an environment, the resource requirements don't change if I select 1 AZ instead of 3, but I'm looking at some material from AWS about their "Quick Start" PCF deployment and they claim that the 2 AZ deployment uses twice as much infrastructure as a single AZ deployment. Is that unique to how they are deploying on their IaaS, or should I be seeing a change in resource requirements in the PCF sizer when I switch between 1 or 3 (or 5) AZs for a given configuration?
We are running a "PCF in the Cloud" managed service and I'm trying to better understand how to measure the capacity of our hardware based on different sizes and types of PCF deployments, but I'm not sure what I'm seeing in the Sizer. It seems like changing the AZ value should change the required infrastructure but I'm not seeing it do that.
Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated!
