Bipod resting tutorial shows "press undefined to deploy it" #15

In my configuration - controls there is no Lock Targets key. There is only Lock Or Zoom. Tutorial shows "press undefined to deploy it". In tmr_autorestinit.sqf#L28 the key is defined as LockTargets. I can find it in arma & and arma 2, but is it possible that "LockTargets" was removed in some recent patch?

"Next Target" is what you're looking for. I just found out that it didn't work when I had a combination of 2 keys for it, had to make it single key press.

I am working on a key system that will minimize this sort of problem, but it's taking quite some time.

New key system planned for 0.4.

as i can see new bind system was implemented, but bipods still should be deployed with next target bind?

Taosenai commented 10 years ago

New bind system hasn't been included in a release yet, but is coming pretty soon. Unless you're building TMR+Tao ConfigSys from source, old binds are still used.

Would it be possible to iintergrade the binding into the contro menu so that you can bind it to whatever is convientient? Better still i dont see a reason that you wouldnt want the bipod deployed at all times. that seems logical given how they work irl. they could simply provide an upgrade above that of the auto rest when used on a weapon. Is there a problem I'm not seeing?
