When walking up to a house wall, you can engage resting as long as you are parallel enough with the wall and the resting icon disappears when turning too far away from the wall. But if you engage resting when possible (i.e. parallel to the wall), and then start turning away, resting does not disengage ever, unless you start to move. It should disengage at the same turning angle where resting would become unavailable.
