Starting the application via flask run is not meant to be used in production. There are several possiblities to launch a flask application using WSGI for example.

We should have a doc page dedicated to tips & tricks when it comes to deployment.

Some examples include

using a non-filebased database like mysql instead of sqlite
creating a WSGI app for nginx / apache
serving static files via nginx / apache

Relevant: #62 will introduce a docker image, another form of deployment (probably behind a proxy / reverse proxy webserver)
