I have made it so that Caps Lock works as a modifier, well I didn't make it since it's stock in autohotkey but I did write the code for it, it's pretty simple, https://github.com/AadiSahni/2nd-keyboard/blob/5fda9b69a04a3a33ad807041bb3c3da4c7907959/All_Multiple_Keyboard_Assignments.ahk#L208 it starts from here and it works pretty well, known problems are the occasional hotkey being stuck, but I think that's just my computer being slow.
