custom element doesn't exist #22

I can not see the gallery card on an ipad mini 2 using the companion app. I get "custom element doesn't exist" error. It's working fine everywhere else (iMac browser and app, iPhone app, Android) I tried to remove and reinstall the app with no success. What could be wrong?

Hrm, I don't use the app very much (and when I do I use Android). Is there a way to clear the cache and/or hard reload? Though I would think reinstalling would have done that...

I already tried to clear the cache and also reinstalled the app but I'm still getting this. I have other custom components installed and they work fine on iPad. browser_mod RGB Light Card slider-entity-row mini-graph-card mini-media-player button-card

I have the same problem with a Fire HD 8 Plus and Huawei Matepad Pro tablets. Other custom components load fine, but not the gallery-card. I tried to access the lovelace page with the official HA android app, and with the Fully Kiosk Browser, and both have the same problem (element doesn't exist). The same lovelace page loads the gallery-card fine on my Windows laptop (Edge) and Samsung Galaxy S21 (HA app)

I did some additionational testing today, it looks like it s related to the Webview version. On the Fire HD tablet I had Webview 70.0.3538.110 and on the Huawei 78.0.3904.108. There were OS updates for the Fire HD which bumped Webview to version 90.0.4430.91 and solved the problem. Unfortunately there is no update available for the Matepad Pro so far. Hope this helps !
