This Character its has to be a difficult for all the scripts This Character works the way which (uni06BD.medi_High, uni0775.medi_High, etc ...) functions in Jomhuria

graphicore commented 8 years ago

Not enough information/guidance for me to even ask a useful question :-/

  1. I don't know how uni06BD.medi_High, uni0775.medi_High behave in Jomhuria
  2. I don't know what "etc" is
  3. I don't know what to do.

Sorry, my bad i didn’t mention it is "dotlessbeh_High-ar” when two or more characters from "dotlessbeh-ar.medi” family are neighbors the second one it must change to "dotlessbeh_High-ar” this way we don’t have same tooth high just repeat after each other (its docent look good) here is the sample of "Adobe Arabic" compare to “Jumhuria"

graphicore commented 8 years ago

Ok, the feature is there, but it reveals some work for you:

dotlessbeh_High-ar misses the top/bottom anchor as it seems. E.g.:

selection_034

At least the top anchor is missing. The bottom one probably as well, but maybe it is just placed badly.

Whenever there is no proper variation the mark-glyphs are not of type mark. You must set the right type for these

An example image cut out from below:

selection_033

Some examples as text: circumflex.below Is not a mark! You must change its type. (used for sub uni0755 by uni066E.medi circumflex.below;) vbelowar seems to be broken (not a mark) as well (used for sub uni08A0 by uni066E.medi vbelowar;)

* Please fix these wrong types and make the "marks" *

Ok, I updated the original long post with a new test page link and screenshot.

Oh, interesting observation:

In the Jomhuria example the variation is: big -> small -> big ->small -> big ->small But I did for Katibeh: small -> big ->small -> big ->small -> big

Which style do you want?

Tarobish commented 8 years ago

Two things though:

The line of uni067C looks now like this:

selection_046

To make it behave like the rest I suggest the same as in: Tarobish/Mirza#98 or we leave it as it is.

Ok :) Great!
