We had a call with the Singapore Azure sale representatives and asked them about spending metric tools to help with cost monitoring on your side. They told us that "the tools can be found in the cost management part of their subscription in their azure portal. Depending on what type of sponsorship account they have, this should be available for an EA sponsorship account, or even an azure pass account where they will be able to know the amount and the time frame that the credits will expire by. I would suggest for you to ask the USA university on this, and if for some reason they really don't have any of this, a support ticket can be opened from their side..." Perhaps a support ticket to Azure can help?
