Spec. structures not regen after dim is deleted #51

so after just having updated the mod on my server i tried dialing the abydos address using the admin dialer and i get a faild connection and this in the console: Gate connection error at -2082 64 -2254: ADDRESS_MALFORMED i also tried deleting the dimension file to make it regenerate and still the same result

Did you tried to create new world? Did you tried to TP to Target Gate? If Gate is not opened?

in single player new world it generates no problem. but on my server when i dial both manually and via admin dialer it wont connect. i tp to the dimensions coordinates that the terminal indicates and there is no structure

Abydos Gate is shouldnt be on these x y z …. Are you sure that it is abydos gate? Abydos Gate Gate is generated in +- 0 ~ 0 cordinates. I dont remember height

So I tested out where is Abydos gate generated. Everytime is generated on these coordinates. x= 2, y = (56-72), z = 23. So your coordinates -2082 64 -2254 leads to differend gate (maybe gate in overworld) Look to picture attached in this comment - every address have tooltip with information.

this is the pos it gives me in the controller and when i tp to the dim and go to the coordinates there is nothing there. and as i said before i have tried straight up removing the abydos dim so it would regenerate and still the same result Screenshot 2024-07-22 220206

also i have noticed that some addresses will connect using the admin controller but when dialing using the DHD the connection fails

Do you have enough energy in Gate? Are you dialing enough glyphs - 8 or 9 symbols address?

the admin dialer is using 7 chevron addresses and when i dial a gate over 5000m away it connects with admin dialer but when i use both 7 and 9 chevron address via the dhd the gate won't connect. and both gates have creative energy cells with max capacitors installed

but yet the gate in question can successfully dial a gate in another dim with a 9 chevron address via the dhd

yeas all gates are powered by creative energy cells and have all capacitors installed and charged
