Issue by zin105 from Tuesday Jan 16, 2018 at 22:08 GMT Originally opened as https://github.com/Tautulli/Tautulli/issues/1217

Version: 2.0.13 Branch: BETA Commit hash: e9725a00819cd103b1fd34141c581b65b340eed7 Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04 Python version: 2.7.14 What you did? Opened Tautulli on my iPhone to check current sessions What happened? Broken page What you expected? Not a broken page How can we reproduce your issue? Start a session on Plex, open Tautulli. If you already have Tautulli open when the session starts it looks normal. This did not happen on V1/PlexPy. What are your (relevant) settings? Link to logs:

How it looks like when nothing is playing (normal) https://i.imgur.com/E5tnPiG.png If you open Tautulli when a stream is already running (BROKEN) https://i.imgur.com/EbYRorO.png If you have Tautulli open when a stream starts (normal) https://i.imgur.com/HF2qDpy.png

Sorry for asking this here but FeatHub is down. Please add an option to disable Terminate Stream in V2.

Hi, Which iPhone/iOS version are you running on?

I have this same issue on an 10.5” iPad Pro running 11.2.2. If I see the broken page, I can go to another tab (Libraries or Users) and back to Home, and it will look fine.

That actually does work, but to clarify, you need to hit the back button on your browser app. Going into "Users" and then using the burger menu to press home icon still gives you a broken page.

Should get me by for now though. I was actually running both V1/V2 so that I can test the new version but still access it from my iPhone.

I posted about this issue on both the reddit and Plex forums threads, I included a video showing the behaviour there.

Works for me on my iPhone 7+ but is broken on my iPad Pro 10.5

Can confirm as above that if you're already on the page and start a stream it shows correctly, but if you refresh you get the broken screen. The "fix" above of clicking users and then using the back button works, but you cannot hit the home button because this gives a broken page.

I have the same issue. I have to go to a different tab and then use the browser back button for the page to render properly on my iPad.

I see the same issue on my iPad Pro 10.5

Running via reverse proxy on IIS.

iOS 11.2.6

Someone mentioned on Reddit that this happens on Chrome and Firefox in addition to Safari and I can confirm that is the case. Although it makes sense since all 3 uses the Safari engine.

I know that v1 had some issues on iOS where you would have to spam refresh to get the current activity sometimes. The difference is that it wouldn't show the poster image at all, but now it's a blurred image. Might be related?

Also having this issue and can confirm that clicking into a new page like a library and then using the back button fixes the issue

sn00pster commented 6 years ago

Not sure if this is the latest release or the recent iOS update but it works almost perfectly now, only time I can get it to fail is if I have a single tab open.

ghost commented 6 years ago

I just tried it again but it hasn't improved sadly. Latest PlexPy and iOS versions.

I see this issue also on my iPad Pro 10.5/Safari (using up-to-date Tautulli docker in UnRAID).

sn00pster commented 6 years ago

Weird, wonder why it's working for me. Just checked again and it's working fine.

Confused. Running latest iOS and latest release of tautulli in a docker container on my NAS (reverse proxy infront of it as well so I can access by dns)

Same issues with iOS 11.2.6 on the iPad Pro and iPhone 8+, and doesn't matter which browser.

JonnyWong16 commented 6 years ago

Is this still an issue on v2.1.4? CSS blurring has been removed.

ghost commented 6 years ago

It looks like this now instead https://i.imgur.com/VWBQhve.png

Same problem but the blur is gone. I should add that it sometimes shows correctly since maybe a month back.

JonnyWong16 commented 6 years ago

That looks like it's perfectly fine.

ghost commented 6 years ago

Nop it doesn't. You can see that 2 streams are going on but there's no info about them.

I re-opened Tautulli until I got it to show correctly, this is what it's actually supposed to show: https://i.imgur.com/6UEhY7B.png

JonnyWong16 commented 6 years ago

That's not related to the original issue. This issue is only about the info not showing up on the cards.

RickDB commented 6 years ago

@JonnyWong16 v.2.1.4 fixed it for me 👍
