Automation has many types:

1. Based on Zigbee sensor motion detection (this is the standard one and preferred one)
2. Based on Camera sensor motion (try to get out of using this one)
3. Based on EchoDot ultrasound routine (that change value of a sensor called presence for each room that has a EchoDot and make the automation script run using this presence sensor (motioinliving)

Be careful automation done using UI can have issues and will keep old lines of code that will; confuse and make it not work make sure to review automation in YAML
