2) Install Zigbee USB stick, and start using SonOff Zigbee devices #6

29_April_2023 1) The Sonoff zigbee USB stick will be be added to the main hardware running the home assistant 2) each zigbee motion detection sensor can be added to the Zigbee network 3) the Zigbee motion detection will send signal to be used to start automation (check automation step later in this guide)

========= so far I was not successful to make USB Zigbee stick work from QNAP server but I used Sonoff Zigbee gateway and it seems to do the job easily through integrating motion sensors scenarios on EWLINK application only without Home assistant, this may be a good option if we keep the motion sensors outside of home assistant

sometime QNAP usb will take control of USB port and will not pass the SONOFF Zigbee stick to the homeassistant VM, the solution is to open VM and USB and select the port of USB And then click ok to confirm we want QNAP to connect this HW slot to the VM (passthrough)
