Uppercase - lowercase for Auto Links

I am having the same issue. I disabled auto-links and upper-case names were displayed as they should. Enabled auto-links and, voila, still seeing lower case letters where I should be seeing upper case letters. I am at version 3.8.0.

My suggestion will be the user making sure they have the right settings as in screenshot below

I already fixed the exclude autolink case in https://github.com/TaxoPress/TaxoPress/issues/1682 and that should't be fused in this issue as they're unrelated.

I have "Use case of text in content" enabled. Here's a recent post in which case is being ignored:

Here on Github, we're asking for the steps needed for someone else to re-create the problem.

My settings match the screenshot but all links are STILL converted to all lower case letters. So I have had to disable the autolink function.

@JHSiess Thanks. Unfortunately, we're still at the stage of simply saying "it doesn't work".

What's needed are specific steps so that someone else can re-create the problem.

• What are your settings for Auto Links?
• What debugging and testing have you done?
• Have you tried disabling other plugins and changing themes?

As I explained, I had to disable the auto-link feature. I don't know what other "settings" would be involved in that particular aspect.

As for "debugging and testing," I have no idea what else you would expect me to do, aside from disabling plugins one by one & activating a different theme. And the answer to that is "no," because I simply have not had the time to devote to such an exercise. If time permits, I will try it, but it won't be any time soon, I'm afraid.

OK, thanks @JHSiess. Yes, the next step is disabling plugins one-by-one and activating a different theme.

For users who don't have time or experience, we do have TaxoPress Pro support available for specific debugging of sites.

Otherwise, we'll leave this open until more information comes in.
