https://ng-bootstrap.github.io/#/components/modal/examples can be used to create a modal for instrument settings. It should include support for the following options:

Custom Number of Strings
Custom Tuning - when a user puts in a number of strings, inputs will appear that will allow a user to input the desired tuning.
