CTAN search link is deprecated

When I invoke texdoc with an unknown search phrase then I get the info:

The link to CTAN is old fashioned in several ways:

• the http protocol has been superseded by the https protocol some years ago
• the path is taken from an ancient major release which has been replaced in 2012 (and just continues to exist as redirect)
• the tag does not exist on the target page

The adequate URL for the CTAN search is

https://ctan.org/search

Which version of texdoc are you using?

The mentioned URL has been updated to what you proposed almost 5 years ago, by commit 5f8c076 (update URLs in messages, 2018-10-07). And it's shipped with texdoc v3.1.

I have texdoc 3.0. It is included in the debian version I have in use.
