Until your request is filled, I hope this helps:
In v0.2.3, if you hold the up or down arrow until you reach the bottom of the
page,
it stops scrolling. At this point, momentarily release the direction button and
then
hold it down again. If you're going forward, it'll resume scrolling at the top
of the
next page. If you're going backward, it'll start scrolling at the bottom of the
previous page.

caffeineplz,
thanks, I ended up doing exactly what you've described. but it just too
annoying.

let me advocate the continuous, or double page view (hope it'll get a higher
priority, as it is #1 issue in texworks for me).
when you edit text located at the page break, switching back and forth is
awfully awkward. say, you're at the beginning of page2 and need to go to the
end of page1.
2 options here:
1. "PgUp" will move you to the *beginning* of page 1, so you have to scroll
down. Takes long time.
2. "Up", page2 scrolls up, then stops. release "Up" and press it again. Page
changes, but your eyes expect text to be at the top, not at the bottom, so you
have to adjust.
Both cases really distract you from editing and considerably slow you down.

Absolutely....the continuous viewing option really should be here. It's quite
annoying to flip between pages and is the reason I'm not going to use this
software for now, although I like it very much otherwise. This is a standard
feature, and it's odd that it's not already incorporate. Thanks!

I've stop use this software for this reason. It should be solve rapidly... It's
a shame to develop this software with this limitation.
Thanks to solve it. Please.

#7: lol, to me it's a shame to blame the developers of a free software project
for the reason that they can not serve you fast enough on the best effort basis
in such a clumsy English. Next time before you post try to control your
overwhelming emotions a little bit. I know Stefan is doing his best to get this
resolved.

#8: Please refrain from trolling
On topic: To me, this problem also has very high priority. I LOVE the fact that
TeXworks has its own previewer, and it is also a good thing that the previewer
is so lightweight. But the lack of continuous scrolling is almost a dealbreaker
to me.

I detect no troll.
also, it is a tradeoff - continuous scrolling would require loading multiple
pages at a time, which would also entail the source specials, etc.
if you're interested in a free lightweight editor with latex-oriented perks,
choices have to be made.

#10: I think you are wrong. This issue is simply matter of usability and these
issues are vital for the success of the project.
I'm using LaTeX on a quite basic level and it's the only feature I miss in the
editor.

Not at all. Texmaker uses continuous scrolling since 6 months without any
problem...

#12:
Please elaborate. Are you saying texmaker does not have to load multiple pages,
etc.? Or are you merely advertising texmaker?
Original comment by caffeine...@gmail.com

#13 :
I don't make advertisement (i didn't add a link to texmaker!). I just say that
it's possible to have continuous scrolling without loading all the pages at
once and without breaking the pdf synchronization with synctex. Okular, Evince,
Texmaker and others programs do that without any problem...

TeXstudio (former TeXmakerX) has a pdf viewer (derived from TW code!) and
continuous scrolling has been recently added to it. Perhaps, this could be
easily ported back to TW. Here's the link to the relevant commit:

Why don't you use
\usepackage{pgfpages}
\pgfpagesuselayout{2 on 1}[a4paper,landscape]
in your preamble? works perfect!

While is issue the partly resolved from properly updating the scroll bar
position on page changed, the amount of scrolling needed to change page is now
large... I just wandered if the current fix is final, and if so, there would
then be a need to add a option to adjust the speed of mouse scrolling, as it is
currently way off in my opinion.
