When you have the LMCC server running, after configuring the IP, you should be able to see LMCC pins on the HMD map.
I've already updated the MainScene in the branch (so my work is on the latest version of the MainScene from the main branch), so you don't need to copy anything over from the original scene I was working in.
Some additional changes I made include making the map (wayyyy) larger to be scaled right (so that the field is roughly around 3600 Unity units long and wide, which should equal 3600 meters according to Unity themselves). Let me know if anything seems really off about the map for this reason.
