When you use an Item Filter naturally it wont stack with new Item Filters, even when you
take out items from the filter and change the other settings back to default, they still won't stack back up with newly crafted filters. To fix this problem you could have another crafting recipe for Item Filters with the required items being a single Item Filter, so then it basically gets turned into a new item.
Why do you thing this feature belongs in Ender IO.
It's a super nice quality of life feature that aims to reduce space used in inventories and keep things organized.

The mod Pipez does this same thing and is where I got the idea. You just put a used filter into your crafting square and it outputs a fresh filter.
