Crash on startup since trying to change the keybinding [1.8.9] #23

I have tried to change the default keybinding for opening the menu, but as soon as I clicked, my whole Minecraft crashed, and now I am unable to open my instance anymore.

Here are some system details: RAM: 4 GB Java version: Latest OS: Ubuntu 64 bit
