@PurpleMossClump really i do not care for controlling DPS through Energy via a formula, for me it's just a unique way to add some economic cost after you build it and one of the direct ways to control Rate of Fire.
I am interested in your factional strengths and weaknesses and it's something we should cover in the Balance Methods.md I made.
What are we wanting to do here? Do we want to set a baseline formula for DPS/energy? Afterwards we could add some play to account for factional strengths/weaknesses.
For example, T3 mobile artillery: UEF average damage and accuracy, with slightly higher HP and larger AOE and average cost per shot Aeon with higher damage, more accurate, but slower firing and smaller AOE and a higher cost per shot Cybran with less accurate, faster firing and mediocre AOE, with lower energy cost than the others Seraphim having average accuracy, medium rate of fire, good damage, good AOE, but very high energy cost
