Bug with creating world stuck at 100% #56

Samuel-Ryan commented 4 years ago

I am using a 15-inch MacBook Pro 2018 on macOS Catalina 10.15.2

The modpack seems to load fine but when I create world it gets stuck at 100% I have tried this on standard Minecraft installing the mods manually and with multiMC as Twitch app doesn't seem to work as it uses the old launcher. Furthermore, other modpacks load fine and play fine

Darkere commented 4 years ago

Did you load a different world previously? Then this would be the same as #33

Samuel-Ryan commented 4 years ago

This is just creating the first world I've looked at #33 and it's not the same

Darkere commented 4 years ago

Can you post your latest.log? It may have the reason why it got stuck.

Samuel-Ryan commented 4 years ago

Ok. Let me just find and get it

Can you post this file? /Applications/MultiMC.app/Contents/MacOS/instances/RAM---Really-Awesome-Mods-0.3.1/minecraft/hs_err_pid58448.log

Regardless first thing I would recommend is trying to reinstall java.

If I'm reading this correctly the error occurred in one of the native minecraft libraries. Not sure how to reinstall those for multimc though.

Samuel-Ryan commented 4 years ago

Ok. That is strange as other modpacks work fine. Maybe, are you able to, if you have the modpack, post a zip here and I can check if I use that, instead of what I have installed, maybe that will have all the required files ?

Darkere commented 4 years ago

The library would not be installed by that. MultiMc either has a central location for it or installs it for each instance. Regardless any zip would not contain that.

Samuel-Ryan commented 4 years ago

Do have any idea then why it seems to be localised to this modpack (vanilla also works)

Darkere commented 4 years ago

This pack may be the only one calling that particular code in the required order to fail. Or one of the mods is corrupted causing it. Really no idea. Could even be broken RAM.

Try reinstalling maybe even try a different launcher. The error unfortunately doesn't give too much to go on.

Thats what I was thinking. Thanks anyway
