Calling all front-enders, mobile web specialists, design gurus, project leaders, and creative thinkers!

Our first project has begun! The goal is to build a Github Pages front-end for our organization. Before coding begins we should get some design ideas presented. The following are needed:

Which one of us is an actual designer? D:

What is it they'd be designing for this initial phase?

Sorry, I should have given more information. The goal of this project is to build a Github Pages site for our group. My vision for this group is to be a place where we can all gain experience working in a team environment and bring some of our ideas to life. I would like for our site to portray that as well as a way for visitors to learn a little about us and be able to connect.

Anyone can help in the design process. Google has some good resources in their Design Sprint Kit. Although some of the activities are impractical for our use due to our group being remote and having unpredictable times we can contribute, there are some great things we can apply to our project. For instance, each one of us could participate in Crazy 8's. Then we can further iterate on ideas we get from those and vote on something before prototyping and coding begins. I'll get my Crazy 8 up later tonight when I get a chance. A picture or scan will do.

Chad's crazy-8 of Team-U site Here is my crazy-8 sketch and comments for each section:

  1. A force-directed graph showing how we are all connected through the main group as well as teams and collaborators.
  2. A page with details on each of us with social media links that alternates pics and text between members.
  3. A page with our current projects in a descending list.
  4. A page showing our combined PRs in a graph (weekly?)
  5. A variation of the project page using a 3D cube turning transition between projects.
  6. Upon clicking a member, expand the circle by zooming, transitioning to a contact screen.
  7. A portal screen showing our mission statement / vision.
  8. A resources page for scholarships, learning and career opportunities.

Ok, now I want to see what you all come up with!
