At RI district event, Fin mentioned that he would occasionally hit the fire button and nothing would happen.
Initial guess is that the intake limit switch was not being hit. So the intake lower command would have to time out before the robot would fire.
Test what happens when this switch is dead and try to break the sequence any other way. Then find a workable (safe) solution that lets them get shots off quickly.
He should still be able to hit the Start button to "manually" fire, but ideally he wouldn't need to resort to this kind of control of the mechanism in a match.
