Travelling to mars causes the server to lag to a screeching halt #489

It might help to know that my server is hosted on aternos. So anyway...

What I do to reproduce this is first traveling to mars through a waystone. At this stage, all is normal and I am able to travel back and forth easily between planets. However, once I begin venturing out into mars, at a certain point, chunks will stop loading just like the image below. What's weird is that this seems to always happen in the same place, about 2 minutes away north from my spawn point, if I travel east or south within 5 seconds, and it's always the same chunks that don't load.

At this point the tickrate of the server drops to like 0.1, opening a backpack takes multiple seconds. If I am even able to access the waystone to travel back to earth, the overworld looks like the image below. Minecraft Screenshot 2022 10 11 - 14 49 08 38

In other words, if I venture too far into mars, the server starts imploding. It's always the same chunks that seem to break the server. I can't even progress ad astra at this point. Log: Log.txt

Edit: after some further testing (i.e. checking around the overworld to see if anything was affected), I came across this terrain generation: Minecraft Screenshot 2022 10 11 - 15 23 47 65 Minecraft Screenshot 2022 10 11 - 15 22 59 50 Notice on the map how the chunks are alternating weirdly. Is my world corrupted or anything??
