Share option for Folders

Yes, we hide it explicitly. Where do you expect to share two (or more) folders?

No option to select & share even one folder*** (not just 2 or more)

1st time checked this feature missing while sending some folders to PC on KDE connect.

Let's say you extracted a zip/rar file named "Chess". Now the extracted main Chess folder contains a bunch of subfolders & files. Plus subfolders contains more folders & files. Now I wanna send the whole Chess folder. So you send files by going to each subfolder one by one then manually create main & subfolder in your 2nd device & put files manually again? I think the better option would be just select the Main folder & share. That's it. All your subfolders & files would be there in your 2nd device as in your 1st device. Plus if you want a particular subfolder (or some subfolders+files) only then select that/them & send.

You can compress the file and send? 🤔 I think we removed because I didn't know sharing a folder through required. Now you mention KDE, I haven't tried it personally.. but will check and enable this.

Better real life example:

• Main folder Chess openings, which contains sub folders Larsen, London, Reti, English, Sicilian..... etc + pgn files
• Subfolder Sicilian contains more sub folders Open Sicilian (subfolders Checker variation, Najdorf,Dragon,Sveshnikov,Kan...etc + pgn files) Closed Sicilian (subfolders Alapin,Smith–Morra... etc + pgn files)

Now I wanna share Closed Sicilian folder only.

Now I have 2 options either 1.Compress Closed Sicilian folder & send (in this case you have to extract in your 2nd device anyway to get the contents) or 2. Send the whole Chess openings zip file (in this case again you have to extract plus delete unnecessary files on 2nd device).

Simple share option for that particular folder is much better imo.

Not just KDE, share through Trebleshot (to other phones) or save/send files on Telegram or other options that android share menu offers.
