Car chargers/UART cables do not send any magic USB commands to signal FSA9485 to start charging. The Samsung hack in board-apexq-battery.c to tell the charger to engage anyway is reading an OTG gpio that isn't being set the same way in this kernel. I am going to disable the Samsung car charger hack until this is fixed.
