Shouldn't part (d) be asking about x=3, not x=-1? There is a hole at x=-1, which is handled in LT3. The next section is about limits with infinite outputs, so I would think we'd want them thinking about x=3 here.
I might also recommend changing the language to "What do you think is happening around x=3?" rather than at x=3. Or "as we approach x=3".
