PSVSD issues with h-encore #17

Closed SyntaxPartnership closed 6 years ago

SyntaxPartnership commented 6 years ago

After installing StorageMgr onto my 1101 Vita (3.68 + h-encore) using the PSVSD adaptor (SphereSolid version), h-encore seemed to crash during exit without actually turning the system off. I then received a message stating "Device is not supported" and neither my SD card (128GB) or my memory card (64 GB) were recognized by the Vita. This also gave every app installed a "File Corrupt" error when attempting to load them. (h-encore and VitaShell included). Reinstalling taiHen's config from h-encore solves the problem. Log

Same issue here. usbmc doesn't work either. SD card formatted correctly. Can be manually mounted in VitaShell.

Steps to recreate:

  1. On a first gen Vita with 3.68 H-Encore and PSVSD with a properly formatted SD card install the latest storagemgr plugin and set up the config properly.
  2. Delete tai folders from memory card and sd card
  3. Reboot
  4. Run H-Encore installer bubble and click install
  5. Click exit
  6. Home button led will flash a few times and screen will go blank. Then it will go to the lockscreen.
  7. Unlock and notice that all non system apps including H-Encore installer and VitaShell throw an error saying the app is corrupt and can't launch. Settings app shows Capacity and Free Space as - or blank.

Reboot and reset configs in the H-Encore installer before installing to disable storagemgr and get the system working again.

Does this mean it's been compiled into the skprx? Or do we compile ourselves?

CelesteBlue-dev commented 6 years ago

@9BitStrider I just compiled v2.0, available in Release.
