Bush Hammer text is hard to read

I really like the concept of the Bush Hammer, but I find the engraved text for most materials really hard to read because of the low contrast. I noticed in the showcase video that you engraved Nether Brick blocks and it made a plate for those, and I assumed from the description that it would also make a plate when engraving the regular 'Bricks' blocks, and it doesn't seem to be doing plates on either for me (although the text on the Nether Brick is much easier to read, which I really appreciate):

As a possible way to make the text more legible, perhaps using the Bush Hammer on a block with previously engraved text could increase the contrast ratio of the engraved text, perhaps toggling through low contrast, white text, and black text? Either that or increasing the contrast on the text in general would be really helpful for being able to read it more easily.

I'm playing on Minecraft 1.18.2 with Forge 40.1.75 and Oreganized 1.18.2-1.0.5 (tested on a brand new CurseForge profile with no other mods to make sure it wasn't conflicting with something else).

Another possible way to improve readability is to double or triple up the layering of the text in shades of the same color to create the effect of engraving shadows.
