journey map and journeymap-tool both making corrupt/invalid .png files #11

ive tried multiple times with the journey map mod, it makes a 800MiB+ .png that in both gimp and the normal lxqt (linux) image viewer wont open because both say its corrupted/invalid, i tried a few times using the tool and i get the same result, ive looked at the output .png's through a hex editor and every time there are large sections that are just empty with no data at all.

could someone please help me...

This is likely due to some issues with your map. This tool does not handle some things very well sadly.

If you have sections of map very far away, it will fail to create a usable image because it will run out of memory.

Example, you play in the area around 0,0, but decide to teleport to 15000,15000. So islands essentially. this causes issues, I have not had time to fix that. One solution is to look in the folder with the files you're going to map. Find some regions that are really far away from what you want mapped and delete them.
