As a user, I should be able to easily navigate between TM articles and tightly interlinked TP articles. (WAS:Add links to TP courses on all Vulnerability articles) #200

Suggestion from Danny Harris - Danny writes, " I think this part of the tool has not been adequately leveraged. Many times people don’t want to read about X, they would rather see and hear about it. This also makes the concepts stick in the mind of the person. So point them to your online training!"

This would need to tie into the customers license and enable or disable specifically identified links in each article. - RG

This is going to be critical for whitehat integration. We need this for every landing page article.

I think this is not only content but backend integration as well (i.e. we'll need to know what product customer has and what links to show/not show?

tlaloc75 commented 11 years ago

We can do this as static links. It doesn't matter if they already have it or not. If they do, great they can use it. If they don't, great they can buy it.

Is this something that will be 'article(s) specific' or to applicable to all content pages?

I.e. is this a case of a) adding some extra text at the end of an article (which could be done directly to an particular site's ) _UserData WebRootFiles ) or b) custom code (backend or GUI) to run before the article is shown, taking into account:

To resolve this bug, all we need are links from article to relevant courses for all Landing Page type articles. So its truly a content-only request. Once we have dynamic linking we can include more advanced article to course mapping but until then it would be counterproductive.

I'll change this issue title and add a note to the dynamic linking issue so that it is more clear.
